What is a pedicure good for?
Pedicures are a great way to ensure you look after your feet!
- A regular pedicure can support chiropody if you suffer from foot problems. This may prevent you from needing further treatment.
- A pedicure can also help your posture -- you naturally walk more comfortably on cared-for feet.
- Pedicures can also soothe and relax you when combined with other treatments. Once your pedicurist has massaged several softening and soothing creams into your feet, you may feel you are walking on air!
What to expect from a pedicure
A traditional pedicure begins with a therapeutic foot bath or spa. Your feet are soaked and cleansed in warm, scented water to soften the skin -- like a mini-Jacuzzi for your feet.
An exfoliating rub will slough off dead skin with salts or minerals. Your pedicurist will also remove your cuticles and cut and shape your toenails.
Creams and aromatherapy oils are massaged into your feet to refresh and soften your skin. Many pedicurists will also massage your lower legs and maybe give an acupressure -based foot massage to help relax you. High quality toenail polish will be applied at the end of your pedicure.

Facials
What to expect during your facial
While you should always ask our expert to determine the full details of your chosen treatment, these are the steps typically followed for most traditional non-laser and non-chemical spa facials:
Step #1 - CLEANSE: Your therapist will gently massage a cleanser into your makeup-free skin and decolletage. After a few minutes, the cleanser will be removed using warm water and facial sponges/cotton pads.
Step #2 - CONSULTATION: Once patted dry, the therapist will take a closer look at your skin. This will allow the specific needs of your skin to be determined and the treatment to be adapted accordingly. You may be asked questions about your skincare routine or lifestyle at this stage.
Step #3 - EXFOLIATION: A suitable exfoliation cream is usually applied. Your therapist will use her hands or an exfoliation brush to help remove any dead skin cells.
Step #4 - STEAM: Steam - or a hot towel - may be introduced to the face while the exfoliation cream is still present, or after it has been removed by your therapist using pads/sponges. The addition of heat loosens pores and encourages impurities to be flushed via the sweat ducts.
Step #5 - EXTRACTION: This step sees your therapist remove any blackheads and whiteheads from your skin using an extraction tool - a steel instrument which allows easy removal of built up sebum from pores. Your face will be cleansed once more after all extractions are completed.
Step #6 - MASSAGE: Your therapist will massage your face (usually with a refreshing oil) to encourage blood flow and the self-lubrication of your skin. This relaxing massage may also involve your shoulders and scalp.
Step #7 - MASK: A clay or cream-based mask chosen to meet the needs of your skin will be applied. You may receive a further massage at this point to help the mask do its ‘magic’, or you may be left alone for five minutes so you can clear your mind.
Step #8 - SERUM AND FINAL TOUCHES: Once the mask has been washed from your skin, a protective, speciality serum (such as one for ageing, or blemish-prone, skin) is usually applied. An eye gel or lip care treatment may also be used, or be optional extras available to you at an additional price.
Waxing
Hair Heaven Nail & Spa offers a variety of waxing and hair removal treatments. We are specialists in hair removal, and it is our goal to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible during your time with us.
Some of our hair removal services include eyebrow waxing, leg waxing, and more. If you can grow it we can remove it.
Waxing removes the hair at the root and leaves the skin soft and smooth for weeks. Please allow a minimum of 1/4″ hair growth for all waxing appointments. Clients using Retinol™ or Accutane™ should avoid waxing.

Eyelash Extensions
Eyelash Extensions enhances the length, thickness and fullness to natural eyelashes . The extensions may consist of silk, mink, or synthetic hair. Eyelash extensions are glued individually (classic) or in numbers of 2-6 (volume) on top of your natural lash with stronger adhesives capable of lasting until your natural eyelash naturally falls out. An eyelash has a life of 60-90 days. They are supposed to fall out. Since they are at different stages of the growth cycle, most people lose 1-3 natural lashes per day on average and never notice it because the lashes are so small. Properly applied eyelash extensions do not affect this natural growth cycle, but you may notice the shedding more than before because your lashes are darker and thicker with the extensions attached.
